Hot Wheels cars have been a part of our family’s Christmas gift tradition for so many years, I have lost track. All four of my boys went through avid Hot Wheels fan phases. My youngest is 8 years old, and he is very much looking forward to adding to his Hot Wheels collection.
One of the biggest bangs for your buck is to get the Hot Wheels 50-car Gift Pack. Regular price is in the $50 range, but around the holidays, I can usually find it for around $35. The 50-car gift pack is perfect for jump starting a Hot Wheels collection, or adding to what Hot Wheels fans already own.

Another reason I love the 50 car set is because the cars are individually packaged. It takes my son several hours (usually over several days) to open them all. It’s also plenty of cars to divide between multiple children. Hot Wheels cars are great stocking stuffers for kids!
My son spends hours and hours racing every single Hot Wheels race car against each other to find out who is the fastest. Over the years, we have owned all sorts of Hot Wheels race track sets. They are all fun and provide unique racing experiences.
He doesn’t know it yet, but this year he is getting the Hot Wheels Super 6 Lane Raceway. This Hot Wheels Race Track is 6 lanes and 8 feet long! I know he will love the lights and sounds, and the announcer’s voice calling out the winner at the finish line. The whole thing folds up for simple storage, transport and on the go play.

If you have the floor space, a Hot Wheels Ultimate Garage is such a fun play set. The garage is around 3 feet tall and can hold more than 140 Hot Wheels cars. It has race tracks, a car elevator, and more. Hot Wheels garage inspires kids to use their imagination.
When they aren’t racing, kids love to load the Hot Wheels Mega Hauler Truck. It has 6 levels to hold more than 50 cars! Pair this with the 50-car gift pack, or the 9-car gift pack or 20-car gift pack. It’s practically guaranteed to be one of the best gifts under the tree.

Honestly, I don’t know why we never got one of the official Hot Wheels carrying cases. They look like a fun way to organize Hot Wheels cars when they aren’t being played with.
My kids keep their Hot Wheels cars parked inside the Ultimate garage or loaded on the Mega Hauler truck. We also have a large plastic bin to toss the cars in for storage. That’s actually the easiest way for my kids to clean up their cars.
Two of this year’s hottest picks for Hot Wheels race track sets are the new Hot Wheels Colossal Crash Track Set and the Hot Wheels Criss Cross Crash Track. The Colossal Crash Track set is over 5 feet wide — making it the biggest Hot Wheels boosted set EVER.
As you can tell, we love everything Hot Wheels! What are your favorite Hot Wheels gift ideas?
