My house is fairly babyproof. The outlets have covers, my cabinets and drawers have safety latches on them, and we don’t have any breakable knick-knacks lying around. But active babies and toddlers can always find a way to get to the things they want. Or at least TRY. I found out that it can be scary sometimes!
I have a secret spot in my bedroom dresser top drawer, way in the back (don’t tell anyone) where I hide chewing gum. My kids love gum, but if there is a pack around, they will chew piece after piece until it’s all gone. So I hide it. One day, my 1-year-old son happened to notice me sneaking a piece of gum from my hidden stash. I didn’t think anything about it. There’s no way he could reach the top drawer, right? Wrong!
About a minute after I left the room, I returned to find my dresser drawers pulled out and my son using them as a stepladder to climb all the way to the top drawer! He had the prize — pack of gum — in his hand and I think was trying to figure out how he was going to climb down. Luckily, I was there to rescue him before he fell.
That experience taught me that there is always some X factor that even seasoned parents like me can forget! Good thing we have HUGGIES® products to keep our little ones happy and dry. Some of our favorites HUGGIES® products include the HUGGIES® Little Movers Diapers and HUGGIES® Triple Clean Wipes. However, I have always been pleased with the performance of the HUGGIES® Snug & Dry Diapers, too. I would recommend either one to parents looking for a high performance disposable diaper.
WHERE TO BUY:
You can find HUGGIES® products, including Bonus Packs Diapers, available at Walmart.

Kids seem to always be 10 steps ahead of parents at ALL ages.

I think all parents go throught the same discovery. If a child want something he/she will find a way to get to it. You just have to always be watchful.

Too funny, kids always surprise you don’t they. I know mine have. It seems as though they always find a way to do something you wouldn’t have expected.

Trust me if you don’t want a child to find, see, touch something it is the first thing they do. Animals are the same way. They don’t see the dirty laundry on the floor or the mess they made but bring home cookies to hide in the back of the cabinet and suddenly they are there. One day you’ll get a laugh out of all of this! We all do it.

Kids can be so quick and sneaky! You try your best to do everything to keep them safe and it can seem like they are working just as hard at undoing all of your work

Even if you think you are completely babyproofed, you can’t leave them alone for a second at that age.

I loved Huggies! i remember going back and forth between Huggies and Pampers when I first started buying diapers, but I found that Huggies really did “hug” and provide the most leak protection! And they were a bit more affordable too, which helped!
