In My Mailbox: The Extremely Cute & The Extremely Ugly

I love the meme “In My Mailbox”! The kids and I look forward to getting the mail every day, in hopes that we will find something fun for us (and not just bills or junk mail!).

Here is what showed up in my mailbox this week — let’s start with The Extremely Ugly.

Remember a few weeks ago when No More Rack sold ties for $1 each? Well, now I know why they were so cheap. I knew I was taking a gamble to buy ties sight unseen, but I couldn’t pass on a $1 tie! (Sidenote: None of the ties were “Calvin Klein” or any of the other brands listed as a possibility of designers.)

I snuck them into my husband’s tie collection just to see if he’d wear one. One of the three ties has already appeared in the garbage can (he did it, not me – I rescued it for donation). We’ll see if the other two survive discovery.

Now, for the EXTREMELY CUTE! I am so excited to share these pictures. I recently won a giveaway for a set of 6 Valentines from Scrapin’ Sara’s Gifts on Etsy. I’ve never met Sara, but I know a few things about her already: 1) She can make cute items!
