The mornings are chilly and the leaves have started to fall around here…summer is definitely over. It’s time to start gearing up for the cold and snowy weather that will be here soon. I partnered with Kamik, one of my favorite and trusted footwear brands, to tell how I’m getting my kids ready for winter with Bluster2 (Thunder) 3-Season boots.
My boys have worn Kamik winter boots ever since their feet could fit in the smallest toddler size boot! We passed a pair of Kamik kids snow boots down through at least two of my kids. They always kept my baby’s feet warm and dry in the snow and ice. The Kamik brand been around for 118 years, so they definitely know how to make a good boot that lasts.
A 3-season boot is perfect for my son to wear to back to school. It’s a great boot that can easily take kids from fall to winter weather without missing a beat.
These Kamik boots are 100% Waterproof, so he can go ahead and jump in those slushy puddles (or mud puddles – I know this kid could play in puddles all day long!) Rubber outsoles give him good traction to walk in the snow.
He really likes the Bluster2 (Thunder) 3-Season boot because it’s lightweight and easy for him to pull on and off by himself. They aren’t just plain ole black boots either – Kamik Bluster2 comes in cool colors and designs like the ones he’s wearing.
My kids love colorful gear, plus it helps us tell their boots apart in a crowd. Check out the self-cleaning lugs on the bottom for less mess tracking itself into the house. That’s a big plus in this momma’s book!
Cold rated to -22 degrees F (-30 C), I feel good about sending my boy out to play on the rainy, slushy or snowy days ahead in his Kamik boys boots. I know his feet will stay nice and dry (and warm) wherever his adventures take him.

Those boots do look colorful, sturdy and function. Your son is happy, you’re happy – what could be better than to know you’re prepared when the first snowstorm hits this winter?

Hi Janis! It does feel good to be prepared ahead of time. I have also been on the other end of the spectrum and waited to buy snow boots for the kids AFTER it snowed. The stores were completely sold out by the time I got there. 🙁 Live and learn! Thanks for stopping by today. Hope you have a great week! –Nicole
