You can now borrow and lend Amazon’s Kindle e-Books for free through the Kindle Lending Club. Don’t own a Kindle? Me either, but my online research informs me that if you download the free software, you can download Kindle reader capabilities to your PC, Mac, smartphone, iPad, and similar devices.
This free service connects book borrowers with lenders. Kindle books can only be shared once per lifetime, and borrowers have 14 days to read the book before it is automatically returned to the lender’s library. Borrowing and lending books is completely risk-free.
