Leap Year comes around every four years and means that one calendar day, called Leap Day, will be added on at the end of February. Leap Day is not really a holiday per se, but getting a whole extra day tacked on to your year is definitely something that deserves a little celebration, right?
Frogs love to leap, which is why froggy cakes, cupcakes and cookies are the perfect party food on February 29th. I’ve rounded up some of my favorite ideas to share with you on my Leap Year Pinterest Board!

Hi, I came across your blog while looking for ideas for a frog storytime. I love your collection of ideas! Yummy and perfect for exploring all things frog!
I would like to invite you to link your post up on my Frog ABC’s Blog Hop. My blog is for librarians, teachers, caregivers, grandparents, and parents of young children who love exploring topics with children through Activities, Books, Crafts, and Snacks (ABC’S). I think your post fits in beautifully with the Snack part of the ABC’S, don’t you?
You will find the Blog Hop here: http://librarystorytimeabcs.blogspot.com/2012/04/frog-abcs-blog-hop.html
I hope you will link up with us!
