Getting Kids To Take Vitamins (Tips and L’il Critters Gummy Vites Review)

August 8, 2013 by Nicole

I participated in a campaign on behalf of Mom Central Consulting for L’il Critters. I received a product sample and promotional item as a thank you for participating.

I have four active kids. They are also picky eaters. I know their growing bodies need a lot of nutrients to stay healthy. Even though I give them fruit and veggies every day, I’m just not sure they are getting everything they need. I give my children a daily supplement to help make up for any vitamins and minerals they may not get from their diet alone.

Lil Critters Gummy Vites

We love L’il Critters Gummy Vites at our house. My kids look forward to taking these colorful, bear-shaped gummies every day. They never fail to remind me when it is time to take their vitamins. We especially like the yummy natural flavors: cherry, strawberry, tropical punch, lemon, orange and white grape.

We have tried other types of vitamins like the chalky, chewable kind. Those are a no-go with my kids. They downright refuse to eat them. L’il Critter Gummy Vites are a universal favorite. Gummies are the easiest way for me to give my children a multi-vitamin. As a mom, I like knowing that L’il Critters multi-vites contain the important vitamins and minerals kids need most: Vitamin A, Vitamin B, Vitamin C, Vitamin D, Vitamin E and more.

L’il Critters Gummy Vites are soft enough for my 2-year-old to chew and swallow. Even if your child has allergies, L’il Critters should be safe for them to take. Gummy Vites have no wheat, gluten, milk, eggs, peanuts, tree nuts or soy. They also have natural colors and flavors.

Tips on Giving Children a Daily Vitamin:

Select a vitamin your child likes to take. If they refuse to take a vitamin, it is less likely that a daily vitamin will become part of their routine.

Store vitamins and other medications out of children’s reach.

Establish a routine. Give your children vitamins at the same time every day. It’s helpful to pick a time such as breakfast or bedtime. You’ll be less likely to forget to give them vitamins when it is a regular part of your daily schedule.

Write yourself a note or set an alarm. Reminder notes and setting an alarm clock can help you remember to give your child their daily vitamins.
