I was excited to try the Mark For Goodness Face Antioxidant Skin Moisturizing Lotion SPF 30. It sounded great – full of antioxidants from blueberries, chocolate, lemons, and herbs. It is hard for me to find a face lotion that works for my combination/dry winter skin, but I gave this one a try. For 2 days. That was as long as I could bear to keep testing it. It burns my skin!
I have sensitive skin, so other people might not experience the burning and redness that I did when I used this product, but be aware that if you have sensitive skin, this is probably not a good lotion for your skin type.
The first time I applied the lotion, I accidentally got some a little too close to my eye area and somehow blinked it into my eye. This caused some pretty bad stinging for a few minutes. I was more careful after that. (In Mark’s defense, the packaging did tell me to Avoid Eye Area.)
Another thing I noticed is that although the lotion was supposed to be fragrance-free, it did have a smell, sort of like sunscreen. I guess it could be related to the 30 SPF?
As for the lotion itself, it was very lightweight, and absorbed quickly. It did not feel greasy at all.
That is pretty much all I can tell you about this product since two days of use is all I could handle. The redness and burning I received from the lotion was my skin’s way of saying, “Enough! Please review a kinder lotion next time”.
I will most definitely try!
On a scale of 1 to 5 stars, I give Mark’s For Goodness Face lotion a 1 (since a zero wasn’t an option).

oh, my husband and I tried this lotion! We second EVERYTHING you said.. especially the sunscreen smell. LOL my hubby HATED that. We are sticking to Mary Kay Timewise Combo to Oily moisturizer. We don’t really need the “timewise” part.. but have tried other lotions and none work as good to moisturize or are as lightweight.

I’m glad I’m not the only one who didn’t like this, but sorry we all had the bad experience. 🙁
I’ll have to look into the MK one. I think I even have a friend who sells it.
