It has been almost a year since I got new Maytag kitchen appliances as part of the Maytag Moms Ambassador program. I am happy to report that these shiny stainless steel beauties still look nearly brand new, even though they get constant use. In fact, someone visiting my home a few weeks ago asked if I had just gotten new appliances. I was happy to say they were nearly a year old, but still sparkle as much as the day they got delivered to my home.
I still love the Maytag dishwasher the most. It saves me so much time and work. Now that school is back in session, I have to wash my kids’ lunch containers and dishes every day. I like that I can put small container lids on the rack so they don’t get lost in the dishwasher.
I rearranged where I stored dishes in my kitchen cabinets so that my unloading clean/loading dirty dishes was done in the most efficient pattern. I know it sounds nerdy, but sometimes I even use my Maytag microwave’s timer to time myself and see if I can “beat the clock” while I unload and re-load the dishwasher. I don’t know why I just admitted that to you! Please don’t laugh at me.
Now that the weather is cooling down a bit, I am getting back into cooking and baking in my Maytag gas range. One back-to-school snack I learned how to bake in the oven is fruit leather. My kids love fruit leather and it’s so easy to make at home.
It was really exciting to browse a recent issue of Country Living magazine and see “my” Maytag appliances featured in the 2013 House of the Year! I am not surprised that the designers chose Maytag because they make dependable kitchen appliances that are beautiful in any home.

What a beautiful looking dishwasher. I haven’t tried Maytag yet, but it sounds pretty amazing. Not looking forward to having to purchase any new appliances, but I’ll definitely be checking their products out when the time comes.

We so need a new dishwasher and I would LOVE to have a Maytag. Ours technically still works, so I can’t justify buying a replacement just yet, but the day is coming. In the meantime, pressing my nose against the monitor in envy!

I’ll admit it, I’m a little envious. That Maytag dishwasher would sure make my life a lot easier…we are a family of six without any dishwasher at all…
