You may not realize it, but the makeup you use on your skin can make a big difference in its health and appearance. I was recently given the opportunity to try several of Mia Mariu’s eye and lip colors. The loose mineral shadow eye liner makeup can be applied wet or dry. I usually apply my mineral eye color dry, with a brush. The two colors I chose for review are Mora and Caramelo. Both colors worked well for my skin tones as an eye shadow or as an eye liner. The Mora eye liner was not quite as dark as I expected it to be, but I noticed that I could get a more intense color as I applied more layers. It also seemed to have a bit of purple pigment in it, which was unexpected but very pretty.

Caramelo is a great go-to neutral color. It’s fairly sheer and has a little bit of sparkle, so I really need to apply a heavier layer of color to get it to show up on my skin. I can wear this every day by itself or with just about any other eye shadow color. Both eye colors last throughout the day without fading. I’m really pleased with these products, as well as the Precision Eye Liner Brush #25. The smaller brush helps give control when I want to apply this eye makeup as a liner and not a shadow. Brushes really do make all the difference when it comes to successful application of mineral makeup.
