A few years ago, my family needed to buy a new car. We found one listed online that fit our needs, so we went to see it in person. The salesperson was really excited to tell us about it. In fact they were so enthusiastic about showing us the car that my husband and I felt like they were overly-excited about selling it to us. We began to wonder if there was something about the car they weren’t telling us.
It turns out, there WAS something they were hiding from us: The vehicle had been owned by a famous recording artist! They did not want to disclose that to us until AFTER we bought it, so that we would not be influenced by the fact that it used to belong to a celebrity. It’s a neat little claim to fame for my car. Although for about a year after we bought it, I felt the need to apologize to my car every time I would sing along to the radio since I know it was used to listening to much better voices than mine! Ha Ha.

Woah, that is so cool that your car used to belong to a celebrity–and that the car salesman was able to keep that tidbit of info to himself. I am in need of a new car too–this is a great promo!

Hi Erica, Yes, it was so funny now to think back about the salesperson. They were nearly bursting with the secret. I think they were just as excited to sell it as we were to buy it. LOL Thanks for stopping by! –Nicole

That’s great to know. We always look online before we go out shopping for cars. It’s a lot faster. I’m glad to hear your husband had good experiences, too. Thanks for stopping by today, Janet!
