I have always loved to watch Looney Tunes. How can anyone not love Bugs Bunny, Daffy Duck and the other classic cartoon characters? And these days, they have been revamped for a new generation of fans in a half hour show. Bugs and Daffy live in the suburbs and are surrounded by colorful neighbors like Yosemite Sam, Granny, Sylvester and Tweety. Each episode features a main story line and “cartoons within a cartoon.” These 2 minute music videos, “Merrie Melodies,” include songs sung by favorite Looney Tunes characters such as Marvin the Martian, Tasmanian Devil and Speedy Gonzales.
The Looney Tunes Show: Volume 2 is now available on DVD. It is nice to have a decent cartoon show that the entire family can enjoy watching together.
