July is National Picnic Month! We have 31 days to celebrate with our favorite picnic foods. Grab your coolers, picnic baskets and blankets, it’s time to go outdoors and eat. I curated a collection of picnic recipes that look and sound delicious. From the traditional potato salads to the not-so-traditional fried chicken and waffle sandwiches, I think you’ll find a lot of picnic menu inspiration here.

What great ideas! We love to try and go on picnics at least once a week in the summer. We like to pack turkey sandwiches, grapes, blueberries, and some trail mix.

Yum! These are all delicious ideas! I love the chicken in waffles idea. My family would love it, too!

I love picnics. I just love going somewhere and eating outside. It just makes it special. I love taking a thermos of soup with some crackers and sandwiches when it isn’t hot outside which is often at the Oregon coast. Snacks like chips are a must too.

Pasta Salads and burgers are our favorite dishes in the summer. Plus all the fresh fruit that is in season is great. I will have to take a look at some of the Picnic foods and make a couple of them

My favorite picnic food is Pasta Salad. I like to theme my picnics if it is geared towards kids, I will make a kid friendly meal or whole family I will do a wrapped meal. I will wrap everything in butchers paper and twine. It is really cute when finished.
