When my friends tell my they like my new sweater, and I tell them it’s from prAna, a lot of them are surprised because they didn’t realize prAna isn’t just yoga pants. Yes, Prana does make awesome clothes for yoga enthusiasts…but did you know prAna makes stylish, sustainable women’s clothing? Take a look at the prAna Holiday Gift Guide for gift ideas for women. This year, prAna tells you exactly how to “Give Stylishly,” “Give Adventurously,” and “Give Sustainably.”
I was recently invited to be part of the prAna influencer program. I was so excited for the invitation because I have loved this brand for years! I told my husband the great news, and he said, That’s so perfect for you. You wear prAna all the time. I share this with you so that you know my enthusiasm for prAna style is genuine and something I have had for a long time.
prAna’s Give Sustainably Gift Guide features some of my favorite winter picks at prAna: The Mattea Sweater, the Ashley Legging Pant and the Pammy Beanie (pictured below.) This is actually the outfit I am wearing for our upcoming family photos (except I got the Mattea Sweater in Black, which isn’t really black, it’s a couple shades of grays.)
I could live in my Ashley Legging Pants – they are made from Chakara performance fabric, which is comfortably fitted yet stretchy. These low-rise, pull-on pants are perfect for indoor and outdoor activities like yoga and hiking. I have even worn these as an insulating layer under my jeans.
The Mattea Sweater is a recycled wool blend that is a warm winter weight without feeling bulky. I love the asymmetrical hemline that adds a little bit of flare at the bottom. Although the sweater is made with wool, it feels soft, smooth and is not itchy for me at all. The Pammy Beanie is my very first “sorta slouchy” style beanie. It’s super soft (made from a recycled hemp blend) and fits comfortably. It’s a super cute hat I could wear every day.
Looking for stocking stuffers for women? prAna lets you gift sustainably with their awesome collection of Hats, Scarves and Headbands. I live in cold, snowy Utah so scarves and hats are my main winter accessories. When I’m not wearing the Pammy beanie, I have on the Francesca Beanie. The Francesca Beanie comes in several colorful options. It’s a great hat for wearing outdoors because it is fully lined with a soft fleece that really keeps the cold out.
The Aysel Scarf is thick, cozy and super warm! It’s also beautifully hand knit. This is my go-to scarf when it’s freezing cold outside. Be sure to take a look at all the color options. The lovely greens and blues found in Tidal Teal remind me of the ocean.
The prAna accessories collection includes everything from stylish scarves, knit hats, and fedoras to headbands and gloves. Truly too many great things to show off here – so I hope you will head over to prAna.com so you can see the entire collection.
Let me know, what are your favorite prAna picks?
prAna values Sustainability. The company seeks out the best sustainable materials for their products, ensures workers are treated fairly and partners with companies whose practices value safety and protection for the natural world.

That top looks right up my ally. I have a few pieces from prana and they have washed and worn so well.
Nicole says
Hi Candice! I have found that all my Prana washes and wears really well, too. (And I just throw stuff in the washer and dryer – no special treatment!) I love the quality. Thanks for stopping by!

I feel your pain about the weather. We’re in Iowa and know there is snow on the way very soon!

That scarf is absolutely gorgeous. Great gift ideas!
Nicole says
Thanks, Ellen. The scarf is one of my favorites, too!

We went camping a few weeks ago. Camping in November, not my best idea ever. But it became clear we weren’t super ready. I need to get my family some of these stocking stuffers so we’re ready for the cold.
Nicole says
Hi Crystal! I can relate on the camping part. In late Fall there’s no telling what kind of weather you’ll get here in the mountains. It can go from freezing cold at night to beautifully warm and sunny days. Hope you can find some cold weather stocking stuffers you love – start with the beanies! 🙂
