My sweet little niece recently asked Santa for the thing she wanted most: a puppy for Christmas. Yes, puppies are cute and yes, a puppy can be the best present ever *BUT* only if you are 100% ready to take on the added responsibility.

It is a sad statistics that when people give dogs as presents for Christmas they end up giving the dog back, or taking it to the dog pound. It is very important to know all these tips before getting a puppy for Christmas. It is expensive to own just one dog, and who is going to help take care of the dog. All these questions need to be asked before getting a dog.

I love this because honestly I have seen people buy puppies for Christmas then later on a month down the road and get rid of it. Makes me sad when people do that. All pet stores should post this near the pets at Christmas time.
