RISK Star Wars Edition Board Game
This epic battle game is a must-have for Star Wars and Risk fans. For starters, Star Wars fans will geek out over the TIE fighter shaped game board. We did! To begin play, each player must pick a side: Empire or Rebel and battle to determine the fate of the Star Wars universe. Would you play for the Dark Side?
There are 3 battles going on simultaneously during the game: the attack on the Death Star, the shield assault, and the battle between Luke Skywalker and Darth Vader. Players use classic RISK dice to control ships and characters. The game can be played with 2 players or 2 teams (the dark side vs the light side.) No matter which side ends up winning the game, the play is a lot of fun.
This game includes a lot of Star Wars themed game pieces. There are about 100 mini Star Wars vehicle ships! When my kids aren’t using the game pieces to play Star Wars RISK, they like to use the mini X-wing fighters, Y-wing fighters, B-wing fighters, and TIE fighters to set up mini Star Wars battle scenes. The game also includes iconic Star Wars vehicles like the Millennium Falcon
RISK Star Wars Edition is recommended for players ages 10 and up. However, I played the game against my 8-year-old and he caught on to the game pretty fast. It will take anyone a few times playing the game to remember all the different orders for battle directions. In the meantime, we will simply keep the game instructions booklet handy for quick reference.
