Thank you to Skip Hop for providing us with a Zoo Pack and Zoo Lunchie for this feature. All opinions expressed are 100% my own.
One of my preschoolers discovered Skip Hop backpacks a couple of years ago. He wasn’t even going to preschool, he just wanted a backpack – and this was just his size. We got him the cute “Dog” one. He filled it with his favorite little toys, cars and books. And he wore his Skip Hop Zoo Pack just about everywhere we went – he thought he was just like his older brothers who wore their backpacks to school.
We both loved that little Dog backpack, which is why I recommend them to all of my friends with preschool-aged children, whether they go to preschool or not. Little kids LOVE to pack and unpack their backpacks. Our Skip Hop Zoo Packs have worked great for taking clothes to spend-the-night at Grandma’s house.
Skip Hop Zoo Packs ($20, skiphop.com) are too adorable for words. The kids (and I) love the bright colors and all the different animals. It is very hard to pick a favorite Zoo Pack. My 3-year-old eventually decided to get the “Cat” to go with our “Dog.” And yes, he is a boy and yes, it is a pink-and-orange pack that is probably more girly than most – but he loves it. Which one would your child choose?
Skip Hop Zoo Packs are the perfect size for little kids. Besides being so cute, the Zoo Packs are quite functional with thoughtful features including:
- Padded, adjustable straps
- Insulated pouch for snacks
- Mesh bottle pocket
- Write-on nametag (inside)
- Fun matching zipper-pull
- Extra pockets for pencils
Many preschoolers will need to take snacks and maybe even a lunch to school with them. Skip Hop Zoo Lunchies ($14, skiphop.com) are the perfect accessory to match your Zoo Pack. Or, if you are like us and have a hard time picking just one animal…pick a different animal for your Lunch Bag. We got the “Dino” one!
The insulated bag helps keep food and drinks cold and has a top handle to clip onto other bags (or Zoo Packs). These bags also feature a matching zipper-pull, write-on nametag and even have an interior mesh pocket to hold utensils. There is definitely room inside for a sandwich, snacks and drink.
