American Family Insurance sponsors a comedy special called Stand Up For Family, hosted by Bill Bellamy, and featuring some of today’s best-known comedians. The jokes are all family-friendly and inspired by the performers’ own experiences with their families. I watched several of the video clips and had a great time, even laughing out loud.
My favorite part is that all the jokes are clean and appropriate for everyone in the family. So many times comedy shows are filled with adults-only humor and language – but thanks to American Family Insurance, this comedy special showcases excellent enterainers telling family-friendly stories, bringing out the most hilarious aspects from their personal memories.
The clip that I liked best was one that I could also relate to the most, called “Street Lights.” Bill Bellamy tells the story about how when he grew up, kids knew what time it was without a watch – and knew it was time to go home when they saw street lights come on. He shared how if he didn’t show up at home on time, his mama would come and find him at the park with his friends — which was the most embarrassing thing that could happen to a kid. His perspective on the whole thing was really funny and reminded me of similar events that happened to me when I was growing up.
I think that AmFam has done a great thing with this comedy special and commend them for their efforts to support the family.

I agree with you totally… it’s refreshing to find good, clean “old fashioned” humor these days! It’s so important to laugh & after a tough day I’ve really enjoyed tuning into funny videos of all sorts. Sometimes you just need a “little something” ..not an entire movie and they’re fantastic for that. This has been a great way for me to find a good variety of clean funny videos of animals and laughing babies 🙂 : http://www.real.com/resources/stupid-videos-youtube
