Trick or Feet! Complete Your Child’s Costume with Light Up Shoes

Trick or Feet! Stride Rite is getting into the Halloween spirit by offering shoes that are themed around some of the most popular costumes! My child’s costume is complete with a pair of Stride Rite Light Up shoes. We love all the Light Up styles that include some of our favorite Marvel and Star Wars characters and Racer Lights.  Find a Stride Rite style that best complete your child’s costume. My preschooler has been wearing his Stride Rite Racer Lights shoes all month long. It was a really tough decision for him to make between character shoes like Spider Man or the colored Racer Lights. In the end, the colors of his favorite football team, the Denver Broncos, won out. He loves his Racer Lights shoes in orange, navy blue and silver. Racer Lights also come in other color options. 

We have a costume box full of ideas. Today he wants to be a spooky skeleton for Halloween. Who knows what tomorrow will bring? Either way, his Racer Lights shoes are the perfect finishing touch.

Halloween Safety Tip: Light up shoes are a great choice for kids to wear when they go trick-or-treating. They help light the way as your child walks, helping them to see and be seen. It’s a nice safety measure to go along with the glow sticks and flashlights my kids usually wear when they go house to house.

I love that the Racer Lights have a velcro closure, making it easy for my son to put them on all by himself. He’s very independent and gets frustrated when he has to ask for help. He can get into and out of the Racer Lights shoes with no problem. He loves to go outside at night and watch his shoes light up. He’d be more than happy to show you how they work if you stop by our house – he loves to show everyone his new shoes.

Stride Rite shoes are top quality. The Racer Lights shoes are lightweight and flexible, and the soles are durable. A really cool thing about the Racer Lights shoes is that when your child runs (or stomps their feet) for about 20 seconds, the lights on the shoes will do a strobe effect.

    You are right, this is a great idea for small children trick-or-treating.
    Both of my boys wore Stride-Rite shoes for years and they are outstanding as far as quality goes. I’d still put my youngest in them if they came in his size.

    What a little cutie pie and those sneakers are a trip! LOVE the idea of wearing them on Halloween.. definitely both awesome because they look cool… but the safety too! NEATO!

    Cute costume, my son is going to be Spiderman and he has some light up Spiderman shoes he is going to wear. I have not purchased any shoes for my son from Stride Rite yet but I know they are a brand you can trust.
