Layer Yogurt and Gelatin for colorful, crowd-pleasing summer desserts!
Yogurt isn’t just for breakfast anymore! My kids and I eat a lot of yogurt – especially on hot summer days. Cool yogurt is a refreshing and wholesome snack. Have you heard of the Yoplait® drinkable yogurt “hack” yet? I tried it and it really works!
I don’t know why I had never thought about making drinkable yogurt out of regular yogurt. Here’s how: Remove a spoonful or two of yogurt out of the yogurt cup and add a tablespoon full of milk to the cup. Stir and it is ready to sip! You can add more milk if you like a thinner consistency. I put the Yoplait foil lid back on and stick a straw through it. My kids like for me to serve it that way.
I even found a way to add yogurt to a classic gelatin dessert. Light and refreshing Layered Yogurt and Gelatin Dessert Squares is a fun summer dessert idea everyone in the family will enjoy.Yoplait Yogurts add a creamy deliciousness and bits of real fruit to the colorful gelatin layers. A simple dessert to make, it just requires a little bit of time to set in between layers.
