TIME For Kids: BIG BOOK OF HOW and BIG BOOK OF WHY

November 21, 2017 by Nicole 12 Comments

My kids are always asking me questions. Sometimes I know the answers, but most of the time I discreetly use my phone to ask Google, then pretend that I knew the answer all along. Needless to say, my children think I am a know-it-all genius.

TIME FOR KIDS has the perfect facts book for kids who love to ask questions about everything! The updated BIG BOOK of HOW! is a new version of this best-selling book. The book has been revised with 30% more facts based on real questions kids ask. Inside the pages are 1,001 Facts Kids Want to Know.

Time For Kids Big Book of Why

We love fun fact books for kids at my house. I leave the BIG BOOK OF HOW and the BIG BOOK OF WHY out on a table in our main living area. My kids will pick up a book and read a page or two while they are just hanging around the house. My second grader even started taking the BIG BOOK OF HOW to school to read during his free time.

All of my kids like to hang around the kitchen while I make dinner, so a lot of those times I will ask my 8- or 10-year-old to find something interesting in the book and read it out loud to us. Of course, they usually try to find something they think will gross me out, questions like “Why do farts smell bad?” and “Why do I have earwax?” (Aren’t my kids hilarious? I’m so lucky!)

Each book contains pages and pages full of great questions and interesting answers. Kids can dive into these books anytime. I love how the BIG BOOK OF HOW and BIG BOOK OF WHY engage kids with colorful photos, graphics and easy-to-understand explanations written especially for kids. My kids WANT to read these books and learn all the things.
