The TIME For Kids editors have done it again! The Top 5 of Everything is another fun fact-filled book my 9-year-old loves to read. This book is about just about everything under the sun: animals, sports, technology, people and entertainment. Children ages 8 and up will enjoy reading all the Top 5 lists. Colorful photos and illustrations are found on every page.
We have started taking this book with us in the car to read as we drive around town. I drive and my son reads out interesting Top 5 lists for all of us. The book has sparked a lot of conversations about people, places and things all over the world. There are more than 100 lists!
We have learned things like:
- the hottest planets in the solar system
- the baseball players with the most home runs
- the fastest roller coasters
- the most popular dog breeds
- the biggest spiders
- the longest spacewalks
- Kids’ favorite toys
— and more! TIME For Kids has become one of our very favorite children’s book series. I love seeing my son’s face light up when I show him the latest book from TIME For Kids. He dives right in and starts reading.

These factual books are entertaining, educational and spark a love of learning in my children. The Top 5 of Everything is a neat little book that everyone in the family can enjoy.
