Tropical Traditions Natural Deodorant Review ~ (Giveaway Closed)

March 2, 2012 by Nicole

Do you know what’s in your deodorant? A couple of years ago, I started paying more attention to my deodorant labels and doing a bit of research on the ingredients. I learned some scary stuff and immediately decided to switch to all-natural deodorant. Finding an effective natural formula to help control body odor may take some time, but there are many great options out there on the market. One of my favorites is Tropical Traditions Natural Deodorant Roll-on.

Tropical Traditions uses 100% pure all-natural ingredients to formulate their deodorants.  They are chemical-free, paraben-free, and aluminum-free.

Currently, there are three fragrance options: Classic, Lavender and Frankincence. If you read my blog regularly, you probably know how much I love anything made with Lavender Essential Oil – so I wasn’t surprised to find that I enjoyed wearing the Lavender deodorant roll-on. Lemon and Rosemary essential oils also go into the Lavender formula, making it a very nice scent.

The Classic roll-on combines essential oils of cedarwood, geranium, tea tree and patchouli. This is actually my favorite scent – surprising, I know, since I’m such a Lavender gal. Frankincense is also pleasant to smell with its sandalwood essential oil. I’m really glad I got to try them all – they were all winners in my book because they were long-lasting and did a great job controlling body odor smell.

I’ll go ahead and list all the other ingredients so you can be impressed by their simplicity – it’s always nice to know exactly what comes into contact with your skin. Tropical Traditions Natural Deodorant contains: purified water, organic virgin coconut oil, organic jojoba, plant based emulsifying wax, grapefruit seed extract, sodium bicarbonate (baking soda), and organic essential oils.

Maybe I just don’t smell that bad in the first place, but it’s always nice to have an effective deodorant solution to help keep me fresh! Have you ever tried Tropical Traditions Natural Deodorant Roll-on? What is your favorite scent?

I’m definitely interested in the deodorant since I haven’t found a natural one I really like. But I’m also interested in the oral hygiene products, especially the breath spray. Very interesting!

This is a wonderful product. I found out when my mother went into kidney failure (NOT FROM ANY PRODUCTS) that you have to be careful of even what deodrant you use. She could not use some products. I was shocked when I read the lable on a deodrant can.

Hi Wendy, Thanks for your comment. I am sorry to hear about your mom’s kidney failure, I hope she is recovering well. I totally agree with you – it is shocking to read some of the ingredients in conventional deodorants. There is some really bad stuff in them that is very harmful to our bodies and people use them every day! Tropical Traditions deodorant is a wonderful all-natural choice, I definitely recommend it to everyone.
