It does not have to be Thanksgiving to enjoy a Pilgrim-inspired panini! This recipe combines two of my favorites foods that most people only enjoy on holidays: cranberry and turkey. We make this delicious grilled sandwich any time of year at my house. It’s one of my husband’s favorites!
Ingredients:
2 slices of Focaccia bread
8 ounces sliced deli turkey
2 ounces sliced Danish Havarti Cheese
2 ounces Whole Berry Cranberry Sauce
Optional: Lettuce, Sliced Tomato, Mayonaisse
Directions:
Preheat panini grill. Spread whole berry cranberry sauce on a slice of focaccia bread. Top the other slice of focaccia bread with turkey and cheese. Close the sandwich and grill for 3-5 minutes.
I like to add my cold toppings once the sandwich is toasted: lettuce, sliced tomato and a little bit of Mayo!

Hey Robin! I’m glad you liked it. I am not a very good food photographer, so I don’t think my picture looks that delicious, but the sandwich is one of my all-time favorites. Thanks for letting me know you tried it and liked it!

Carol Foltz says
This looks great. I love turkey and cranberry together, but I’ve never had Danish Havarti cheese. I’m kind of picky about my cheeses, so if I don’t like that one, I would find another kind of cheese. I wish I had one right now.
