Makeover your Makeup for Spring with Victoria Jackson Cosmetics + Promo Code

March 13, 2015 by Nicole

I participated in this sponsored campaign on behalf of Victoria Jackson® and One2One Network. All opinions stated are my own.

The Spring 2015 makeup trend is towards a simple, natural look. Healthy, glowing skin is in. It is easy to achieve the “No Makeup” Makeup look with Victoria Jackson Cosmetics. Give your makeup a makeover with some of the best makeup for a flawless-looking face.

Must-Have Victoria Jackson Cosmetics for Spring 2015

victoria jackson foundation duo

1. Foundation Duo ($29.95) gives your skin perfect coverage. A little bit goes a long way. I love how this foundation feels so lightweight. I almost forget I am even wearing makeup. The two colors in the duo can be worn separately or blended to create the perfect color coverage for your complexion.

VJ Blush

2. Perfect Everyday Blush ($20.95) I have the Sparkling Rose color, and it truly does look like I have naturally-flushed cheeks. I apply just a little bit of this mineral-enriched powder blush, but you can get a richer color by adding another layer of the blush if desired. This blush also comes in a peachy-toned “Garden” color.

VJ bronzing powder

3. Here Comes the Sun Bronzing Powder ($22.95) is available in a single shade that’s made for everyone! You can get a natural looking tan by applying a small amount and building color to your desired shade. I like the matte finish.

VJ mascara

4. Lush Mascara ($18.95) makes lashes look fuller and actually strengthens lashes while you wear it.

I was able to create a natural makeup look using only the four products listed above. How how I did it: Use a makeup sponge to apply an even layer of Foundation Duo. Apply Perfect Everyday Blush to cheeks. Use the Bronzing Powder as an eyeshadow. Finish with the Lush Mascara.

My favorite beauty product of the bunch? The Foundation Duo gives gorgeous results. My skin needs makeup that can correct uneven skin tone and hide imperfections – and this Duo does the job. I feel more confident when my skin looks and feels good, without wearing a ton of makeup. Victoria Jackson helps me get the natural No Makeup Makeup look I love.

These are just the basics for getting started. Victoria Jackson Cosmetics includes an extensive line of makeup, including amazing kits and color palettes that take all the guess work out of buying makeup. I love the Limited Edition Hollywood Glam Kit because it has the neutral and smoky eyeshadows I love, plus 5 lip colors in one convenient kit.

I would like to try the Foundation Duo. I like that it’s lightweight, I don’t wear a lot of make up and don’t like wearing heavy stuff on my face.

      Hi Shelly,
I really like the Foundation Duo. It gives me just the right amount of coverage. I use the lighter side as an undereye concealer and then mix both colors to use all-over as foundation. It is not heavy at all – I don’t feel it. I even forgot to wash my face with it on! Luckily, it must not clog pores because my skin didn’t suffer from one night of wearing makeup all night. 🙂 I’ll definitely buy this again.

I love the blush color and the mascara would be awesome to try, great time to shop for makeup and get rid of the old stuff.

Hi Nicole! That’s a great point you made about getting rid of the old stuff. Cosmetics (especially things like mascara) should be tossed out on a fairly frequent basis. The blush color is really pretty, the pink looks really good with my fair skin (if I’m allowed to compliment myself, haha). I’ve been using the mascara for a couple weeks now and really appreciate that it does not clump at all. EVER. Thank you for stopping by with your comments.

Photo or it didn’t happen! I find that absence of a photo of the blog owner kind of creepy. And distracting. Like, I wonder, what, is she paranoid? What, dose she think she is not attractive? All of it woul be more persuasive if I could see your face, dear.

Hi Mary! You do have a point and are correct. I dislike most photos of myself, so that is why there’s not one on here. I am sorry that my opinions and product photos are not enough, but I totally understand what you mean. However, I must respectfully disagree with you at little bit. 🙂 I read hundreds of beauty products reviews on other websites and such that simply rate the products and allow customers to write their opinions. I find customer reviews extremely helpful despite the fact that nearly 100% of them do not have face photos. You are right though, that the MOST persuasive reviews are the ones with photo proof. I’m sorry that you did not get that here. Thank you for stopping by. —Nicole

I like trying out new makeup lines and see how they look on me. I like the colors of the Victoria Jackson Line and would love to get some new makeup for Spring!
