Washi Tape Pumpkins #Craft

Is there ANYTHING that doesn’t look cheerful once it’s covered in Washi Tape? Washi Tape is a favorite of crafters everywhere because it’s easy to use and comes in fun colors and patterns. You can find millions of Washi Tape ideas all over Pinterest. A few of my favorites include decorating plain notebooks, creating custom cards, and upcycling glass jars into cute Washi Tape covered containers. How do you use Washi Tape?

I recently got a huge collection of the new Scotch Expressions Tape. The new line is available in four varieties – magic, masking, shipping and washi – and features 100+ decorative colors and patterns. Whether you’re personalizing school supplies, organizing and decorating the home, or custom-wrapping gifts, Scotch Expressions Tapes can help add amazing to every project.

After scouting my house for items to cover with Washi Tape, I thought, Why not cover a few of my pumpkins? Some of my pumpkins had to be picked while they were still green, so this seemed like a good solution to make them look festive. BEFORE and AFTER:

Washi Tape Pumpkins Before

Washi Tape Pumpkins After

Washi Tape Pumpkins are an easy craft. I think it would be a fun fall craft project for kids. Get started by picking your favorite color of Washi Tape and start taping at the stem. Cover the pumpkin in strips of tape from stem to the underside of the pumpkin. I’m sure you could wrap your pumpkins using any pattern you want. I even put a yellow Chevron on one of my Washi Tape Pumpkins. The Scotch Expressions Washi Tape and Masking Tape were both used in this project. The Masking Tape (used on the Chevron pumpkin) was a little bit faster to use since it’s a little wider than Washi Tape.

I’m excited to wrap this year’s holiday presents using Scotch Expressions Tape. The colors and patterns are so cute. And you know there are going to be some adorable Washi Tape holiday card ideas on Pinterest. So grab your Scotch Expressions Tapes and get to crafting! Costco sells a wonderful collection of 15 Scotch Expressions Washi Tapes. Be sure to look for it in stores.

Check out all the Scotch Expressions products and project ideas.
