I have been using Tracks AIR Wireless Headphones by SOL REPUBLIC for the past several months. They have totally spoiled me. I tell all my friends how easy they are to wear – they make listening so much more convenient. How did I ever get by without my wireless headphones?

Wireless headphones are awesome. I don’t get tangled up in cords. And no one trips over my cords. I do not miss having cords on my headphones. At all.

I can even walk away from my device while I listen. The Tracks AIR headphones have a 150 foot range. I can pretty much leave whatever device the headphones are paired with in one room and walk a room or two away without losing connection.

The Tracks AIR wireless sound quality is great. I wasn’t sure if I’d notice a difference versus my wired headphones. But I truly didn’t experience any loss of sound quality. Another great feature of the Tracks AIR is the 15 hour battery life. My headphones go at least that long between charges. They are perfect for travel. These are definitely going with me on my next vacation.

To be honest, I was not the biggest fan of the on-ear style of headphones. For about a week. At first, the headphones were uncomfortable after I had them on for about an hour. Fortunately, I loved the convenience of wearing wireless headphones so much that I kept on putting them on my ears. It took about a week of wearing them 1-2 hours per day for me to break them in.

Now my Tracks AIR headphones are comfy enough to wear for hours on end with zero discomfort. My advice is to give them a chance during that initial breaking-in time period. Things will get better quickly!

How I use my Tracks AIR wireless headphones.

I wear my Tracks AIR wireless headphones every single day. I use my Tracks AIR to listen to music, watch TV/movies, and I sometimes wear them when I exercise. The only downside about wearing these headphones while I exercise is that my ears and head get hot. That is totally normal though. Of course, anything covering my ears while I work out is going to make me feel hot. I prefer using ear buds when I exercise just to help keep my ears and head cool. BUT I love wearing the wireless Tracks AIR headphones because there’s no cords to get tangled in as I’m moving around. It’s a bit of a compromise.

The Tracks AIR can connect with two devices at the same time. For example, I pair it with my phone and my tablet. That way, if I’m listening to music or a movie on my tablet, I can answer my phone and take the call over my Tracks AIR headphones. I have even asked people if they noticed I wasn’t using my phone to talk to them. They could hear me just fine and didn’t think our phone call sounded any different. No one could tell I was talking over a headset.

My Tracks AIR headphones are black. But anyone who loves color will be happy to know they are also available in a variety of colors including red, white and blue. The $199.99 price tag is well worth it. You get high quality sound and unbelievable convenience when you use wireless headphones. I definitely recommend Tracks AIR by SOL REPUBLIC.

    I have been looking for a pair of wireless – I walk the dog daily and the inside the ear are always either too big or dont stay in. I might have to look into these.

    These are very nice headphones. I like to get these for my son, he would love these. And they have 15 hour battery life and can be taken for long plane rides and road trips.

      Hi Kristin! Great question about the fit for kids. Even on the smallest setting, I don’t think they would fit snugly on a younger child’s head. Teens, yes, but kids, probably not the best option. I wish there were Tracks AIR made for kid-sized heads, that would be an awesome idea! We’d definitely use them in the car with our kids. As far as I know, SOL REPUBLIC doesn’t currently make children’s headphones though. -Nicole

    I love these and would love to be able to just sit here when I am on the computer and listen to my music I have recorded on here. I don’t like turning it on when everyone is alseep so these would be perfect for me and not bother anyone else

    I need to get a new pair of head phones. I love that these are wireless. They would be perfect for traveling. I always worry all of the cords are going to get tangled together.

      The backseat of my car is a tangled mess of headphone cords whenever we travel because of the kids! I wish I could get a pair of these for every member of my family. I love my wireless headphones – it’s nice to enjoy a tangle-free road trip. -Nicole

    Oh my goodness, I have seriously wanted to get the husband some SOL REPUBLIC headphones for quite a while! They would be perfect for his “gaming” nights so I don’t have to listen to the silly commentary of the guys he plays with.

      That sounds like a win-win situation to me! He gets headphones, you don’t have to listen to gaming comments. haha I didn’t even think about using it for that. My oldest son plays Xbox with his friends and I always think there are other kids in the room with him, but it’s just them talking over Xbox. I think your hubby will love these headphones. In fact, I saw my hubby walk out the door with MINE just this morning. I may need to get him his own pair for Father’s Day.

    I like these kind of headphones more than the ones in the ear. I feel like I heard the music better and it doesn’t blare out my ear.

      The wireless ones are great – I can get so much stuff done with them on since I’m not strapped to a device. You should check them out, I think you’ll love them.

      Wireless is definitely the way to go. I can do so much stuff (clean, cook, etc) while wearing them because I’m not attached to anything with a cord. I love these headphones!
