MOTORWORKS Wooden Vehicle Review

September 8, 2013 by Nicole

Mom Always Finds Out received MOTORWORKS wooden toy vehicles products for our review. All opinions expressed are my own. The Sponsor is responsible for prize fulfillment.

Motorworks Toys We Love

Earlier this year, my kids got their first MOTORWORKS wooden vehicles and play sets. Kids can customize their cars and trucks with decals and snap-on accessories. Our MOTORWORKS toys quickly became favorites, and we were really excited for the chance to review the new vehicles and accessory packs. The wooden toy car collection was a huge hit at Toy Fair 2013. It’s the only line of customize-able wooden toy cars, accessories and play sets.

All of the MOTORWORKS accessories are designed to be interchangeable on every one of the vehicles in the collection. They easily snap together and come apart so kids can create unique custom vehicles.

Monster Truck Motorworks

Personally, I love that these are high quality cars at budget-friendly prices. These should definitely go on your holiday toy shopping list this year!

We received the Race Pace Power Pack 2.0 ($30) and Chrome Effects Accessory Kit 2.0 ($12). I was really happy that the Race Pace Power Pack includes 2 vehicles because it takes at least two vehicles to hold a real race! Plus, I have four boys who love to play with these cars. You can imagine how hard it is to get them to willingly share their favorite toys. We all think the Chrome Effects Accessory Kit is really cool because of the shiny chrome wheels, side pipes, and spoilers for the front and back.

One reason parents like me will love MOTORWORKS toys so much is because there are no batteries! Kids want to use their imagination and build their cars. My kids spend hours playing together racing their cars on the floor. It’s so nice to see them with a REAL toy instead of video games. We can add on to our collection with different vehicles and accessory kits so they can always create something new.

I like both that the quality of the wood looks very good and also that the child can build the car himself.
