Technology makes a huge difference in my family’s life, especially when it comes to sharing important moments with loved ones who live far away.
Grandparents can’t always be there in person for my kids’ birthdays, holidays and other special events. We try to do our best to make them feel like they were there with us by sending pictures and videos. I have just found out about an even BETTER way to share important life moments with people who can’t be there in person. XFINITY’s new live streaming feature makes it so that the viewer can watch a live video feed on their TV! This new XFINITY feature is available through the X1 EOS (Entertainment Operating System.) It allows subscribers to live stream video to the TV.
Now we can use our smartphones to set up a live feed of birthday parties and other occasions. We may even try to set up a live stream from the football field so the grandparents can watch my son make a big tackle this fall. They can watch his games live on their living room TV even though they are 2000 miles away!
I am happy that our grandparents never have to miss out on fun occasions, even when they cannot attend in real life. They can watch it happen live on the big screen, thanks to the new XFINITY feature. The XFINITY app is a downloadable mobile app that lets you live stream from your smartphone to the TV. You can also use the app to send photos and videos. Cloud storage lets you save, access and share your important moments over and over again. XFINITY subscribers will soon have access to this amazing new feature! Get ready to live stream your life on a bigger screen!
