My husband and I just returned from an amazing trip to Beaches Turks & Caicos Resort Villages & Spa located on Providenciales, Turks and Caicos. Right from the start, it was very clear that our every need was going to be thought of and taken care of by the staff. Our airport shuttle pulled to the curb at the lobby, and set off a pleasing chain of events: Resort staff immediately whisked our luggage to our room, a polite attendant offered us a moist towel to cool off with and we were offered a tropical cold drink. This level of service continued throughout our stay.
We had to get used to the fact that resort guests are not allowed to give tips (all tips, taxes and gratuities are covered in Beaches Resorts all inclusive family vacations.) We experienced friendly, sincere service. All of this helped us really just relax, forget our worries and enjoy our time at the resort.
Our favorite thing to do at Beaches was to go to one of the many beautiful swimming pools on the property. We would often just spend the morning and lunch time swimming, chatting with the friendly and knowledgeable bar tenders at the swim-up bars, and lounging in the comfortable poolside accommodations.
It was easy to move from pool to pool and each one has its own distinct character. We eventually decided that we liked the Italian Pool the best. The water was always perfect, and you can order drinks all day long. We noted the happy atmosphere among all the resort guests. Everyone was there to be friendly and have a good time.
The water park at Beaches is not just for kids (although kids do love it). Although we didn’t bring our children with us to the resort, it didn’t stop my husband and I from spending an afternoon at the water park floating the lazy river and riding many of the awesome water slides.
We appreciated that there were no long lines and none of the crowd madness that is usually associated with water parks. It was actually relaxing and enjoyable in the water park. The quality of the slides and lazy river was just as good as any water park we’ve ever been to.
This was our first all-inclusive vacation ever. And now we understand their appeal. It was so nice to be able to go to a restaurant and eat whatever we wanted – whenever we wanted. And I appreciated that the food was not just Vegas-style buffet. To be clear, there are restaurants where portions of the food are set out in buffet style. But most of the restaurant food we had at Beaches was ordered and served by helpful attendants much like any other sit down restaurants.
The variety of dining options available to us was honestly too much to take in during a 5 day stay. We will have to go back and hit up the restaurants we didn’t have time for on this trip. We especially enjoyed lunch at the Jerk Shack, where we had Caribbean style pork and chicken ordered and eaten right on the beach. For a more romantic dinner, we loved the Sky Lounge, where our rooftop table was perfectly perched to view the sun set as we dined on excellently prepared steaks and seafood.
Want to snorkel? Just go over to the resort’s water activities desk and check out a snorkel kit. Then take a short walk down the beach and jump right into the beautiful blue ocean waters. Blight Reef is only a 5 minute walk away from Beaches Resort and we found it to be a very easy and pretty good place to snorkel. There are many fish and colorful reefs there that make snorkeling a must do while staying at Beaches.
If you really want to get out there and snorkel on remote reefs, the resort can help you book a boat trip that will take you to the reef off of Iguana Island. We took the Kitty Katt catamaran on such a trip and it was awesome.
Want to sail, kayak or paddle board? It’s all right there on the beach waiting for you. And yes, it’s included. We really grew to love this aspect of the trip and we opted for the small Hobie Cat sailboat where we sailed out to the outer reef and back. No experience is really needed for these boats. They are dummy proof and hey, if you fall in the water it’s all good because it was calm and warm everywhere we went.
A summary of our main impressions of Beaches Turks & Caicos Resort Villages & Spa? Leave your credit cards and your worries behind. Everything you want to eat and do is included, everything you experience is excellent and you will love the friendly and sincere interactions with resort staff. Dining is convenient, with diverse and delicious options. Pools are perfect and the resort’s beach front is packed full of free and fun activities.
Does your idea of an amazing vacation include spending your days and nights enjoying everything a beautifully manicured paradise within paradise has to offer? If your answer is yes, you’ll want to book a stay at Beaches Turks & Caicos Resort Villages & Spa.

Thank you for the compliments. It’s easy to take photos in such a beautiful place as Turks and Caicos. We had a wonderful time and I am really missing that warm tropical climate now that it is getting cold here at home. You would love it!
