My list of New Year’s resolutions includes one of my least favorite activities of all time: potty training! My toddler is starting to show signs of being ready and willing to start the process, so I’m gearing up for our potty training adventure. Earth’s Best is helping me potty train my child with their Potty Training Pants and flushable wipes.
Earth’s Best Potty Training pants are chlorine free and made with renewable resources. My son loves the friendly green alligator pictured on the training pants. The pants pull up and on just like real underpants. These are very absorbent and didn’t leak – even when we used them overnight. The sides are stretchy and make a nice, comfortable fit. All I have to do to take them off is tear them on the sides. The TOTS Chlorine Free Flushable wipes are an unscented, alcohol-free, and environmentally-friendly option.
This is my third child to potty train and I know from experience that every child is different when it comes to learning to use the potty. The most important thing to remember is that a child must be both physically and emotionally ready to take this step. It takes trial and error to figure out what works best to make potty time a successful experience. Don’t give up – it will happen. Earth’s Best has a great list of Potty Training Tips you should check out. Some of my favorite tips from their list include:
- use a floor potty (it’s smaller and easier for your child)
- use encouraging words – “I’m so proud of you!” and “You did it!”
- be consistent

The tips to potty training were very helpful, we are currently doing it with our 1st. And have been trying off and on for about 18 months (she’s almost 4!) But we have also moved about 4 times in that time….big changes caused problems.
