I can tell it’s Back-to-School season. All the local stores have filled their shelves with school supplies, and I’m feeling the need to plan what to send for school snacks and lunches. It’s almost time for a fresh school year to begin, and I want us to Start Happy®. My school shopping list grows a little bit every day.
When I shop, I look for the best deals. And Fruit of the Loom® Bonus Packs are just the kind of thing I’m looking for. Boys and Girls packs come with 3 FREE pairs of underwear. Look for them at Walmart and Target. It’s a new school year, and my kids can feel their best when they wear fresh Fruit of the Loom undies.
My Kids Make It Easy For Me To Be Happy It’s Time To Go Back to School aka My #TGIBTS Story
In my ongoing quest to keep the kids entertained this summer, I thought I had pulled one of my smartest, most ingenius Mom moves EVER when I set up a LEGO table in the garage. I even put a box fan right next to the table, so a gentle “breeze” could keep the kids cool while they played.
This actually was a great idea but for one slight oversight on my part: My boys sometimes fight over their LEGOs. You know how it is when one kid decides he needs the exact same LEGO piece that someone else just happens to be using, and makes a grab for it.
Well, that happened as soon as I left the room. And that huge box filled with 2.5 billion LEGOs that I ever so kindly hauled out to the garage for my boys to enjoy? Well, it got knocked over in the battle for that one LEGO piece. Millions of tiny LEGOs scattered EVERYWHERE in an instant…COMPLETELY covering the garage floor.
And my boys didn’t even seem to notice. The argument over that one LEGO piece ended as quickly as it started and they quietly resumed their happy LEGO building activities.
Enter mom. (That’s me.) I had to literally wade through the LEGO pieces to get to the boys. I was not happy about the mess. At all.
This seems like a good point in my story to interrupt and say, #TGIBTS! (Thank Goodness It’s Back To School)
Incidents like the LEGO mega-mess make it just a bit easier for me to send my kids back to school. I love them more than anything in the world, but I won’t miss having to clean up after them when they go back to class.
Share your #TGIBTS story and Win a Fruit of the Loom #TGIBTS T-shirt!
I want to hear YOUR #TBIGTS story. Did somebody paint the dog purple or worse, trash the house…perhaps they spilled a billion LEGOs on your garage floor? Let me know something that the kids did over the summer that helped make it a little bit easier to be happy that school is starting again soon!

My kids hid all of my underwear. It took me a day to find them and they still haven’t told me why they did it.

This is a really cute shirt. I’d totally give it to my mom (the kids grandma) if I won. She lives with us and I think she is breathing a sigh of relief that the kiddos started school again. She is tired! haha. Thanks for the opportunity to win!
