Have you picked up presents for all of your furry friends? My family has two dogs, plus we are friendly with several other dogs in our neighborhood. We’re only a few days away from Christmas – so it’s time to put together some last minute Christmas gifts for all those special doggies!

The Pet Shoppe

I love shopping at Walgreens, but had never taken the time to visit the Walgreens pet section. It has a lot to offer! I learned that The Pet Shoppe brand is sold exclusively at Walgreens. The Pet Shoppe products include natural treats, toys, grooming supplies, health and more. I’m especially happy about finding their natural dog biscuit option. My dogs love treats, and I love that these are premium treats made without wheat, corn or soy— plus no artificial colors or preservatives.

My son helped me pick out a couple of dog toys, a bag of Chicken and Cheese dog biscuits and a box of Peanut Butter dog pretzel treats. On our way out, we saw this Snoopy stocking and just had to get it for our little puppy. Even the store clerk agreed with me that a Snoopy stocking makes the perfect stocking choice for a dog. It’s so cute!

Easy Pet Gifts

Once we got home, I took out wrapping paper squares and put a handful of dog treats in the middle of it. I gathered the edges of the square up and tied a ribbon around it keep it together. We now have instant pet gifts to give to all of our dog friends. It was so easy to make these pet gifts. Of course, I let both of my dogs sample the treats ahead of time. It was unanimous: The Pet Shoppe treats are doggone good!

Walgreens pet toys are the perfect thing to stick in our dog’s Snoopy stocking. My little puppy really likes to play tug of war and chew on rope toys. The orange and white rope also has a squeaky toy attached…it’s a definitely winner. I also got the hard, bone-shaped chew toy that should help keep his teeth healthy. He’s going to be excited to sniff all this under the Christmas tree this year:

The dog treat bundles are a smart idea. That way I could buy 2 or 3 kinds of treats and mix them up for all the family that have pups. I like the Snoopy stocking, too – very appropriate 🙂
