Green Kids Crafts ~ Monthly Subscription Promo Code {Review & Giveaway}

July 10, 2012 by Nicole

Green Kid Crafts is a great way for parents and kids to enjoy eco-friendly arts and crafts projects together. A subscription to Green Kid Crafts includes means you will get a planet friendly craft box delivered once per month. The box includes all the materials your child will need to create that month’s project ideas. Green Kid Crafts are suitable for children ages 3-8 years old and monthly memberships are available for $19.95. Join now and use promo code SUMMER and get $10 off your first craft box!

My children recently received a delivery from Green Kid Crafts and we had a fun time making the earth-friendly projects. Our box included the materials and instructions for 3 different projects: a wind chime, pirate loot, and a scrapbook. The project directions were easy to follow and what I especially loved is that all of the materials we needed were ready and conveniently included in the kit. (The only things we needed to provide were glue and scissors.)

Green Kid Crafts is the only carbon neutral craft subscription service in the nation! They were recently awarded Green America’s Business Seal of Approval and also won top honors in the 2012 Leading Moms in Business competition.

A Green Kid Crafts box is the perfect thing to pull out to get your child’s creative juices flowing. Learn more at Green Kid Crafts – Visit their website to see project ideas and how their monthly service can help your child cultivate love and respect for the environment. Connect with Green Kid Crafts on Facebook

    I found out that they offset 100% of the carbon dioxide generated by their business and help fund the development of renewable energy projects across the United States. This would be awesome for my Girl Scout troop to try!

    My 3 sons would just love to do these kinds of crafts. I think it is very important to teach our children how to make use of what’s around them. I enjoyed hearing how the company got started and I hope to one day be able to afford it for 2 of my sons.

    I’d like to see some green Christmas ornaments/decorations! There’s nothing better than hanging up ornaments and decorations that a child has made! I still have ornaments from when I was in school that have been passed back to me from my mom. I also have my ds’s that he made in school. Dd starts preschool this year so I can’t wait to see what they are making these days!
