Plan Toys creates the safest toys possible for little ones using organic rubber wood, water-based nontoxic dyes, and nonformaldehyde glue. I really like that this company is GREEN and holds itself to a high standard when it comes to making baby and children’s toys that encourage imaginative play and promote physical and mental development.
I love that Plan Toys have a purpose. They are the kind of toys I want to own because the toys I buy are not just going to become dust collectors in the closet. The toys I want for my children are fun, educational and encourage activity.
My baby recently received the wooden Baby Walker ($75). Although he can’t walk by himself yet, he loves to hold onto the handle and push this toy all over the house. The handle is adjustable to different heights and stiffness for stability.
What we think is really great about this Baby Walker: It’s shaped like a cute car with rubber wheels and comes with 24 colored and natural wooden blocks.
We love the block set as much as we enjoy the push baby walker toy. Babies learn so many skills when they play with building blocks. The Plan Toys blocks are the perfect size for toddlers to grasp. My son enjoys taking the blocks out of the walker and putting them back in again. This walker is really like getting two toys in one!
What I found out is not so great about a wooden baby walker:
Although I love that this toy is made with sustainable, ecofriendly wood materials, I really have to watch my son pushing this toy because the wooden walker can knick the walls and baseboards if it hits them hard enough. I learned this lesson the day my son discovered the fun, loud banging noise he could make if he bashed the walker into the wall. Yes, boys know how to be destructive even at an early age! I guess it comes naturally, at least with my sons.
Plan Toys has a wonderful selection of eco-friendly toys for children of all ages. Their toys have won prestigious awards including the Parent’s Choice Award and Oppenheimer Toy Portfolio Award.

My nephew could definitely use this as he’s learning to walk. Love it. Thanks for the review!

Thanks for the review! We love environmentally responsible Plan Toys but didn’t realize they could be a hazard to walls!

I didn’t realize they were hazardous for walls either – but leave it to a toddler to find a way! 🙂 My son certainly enjoys his Plan Toys walker and the blocks – I just have to keep him away from the walls so he can’t make any more of his “music”! haha

Good review, thanks for sharing! I wish they had made green & organic toys when my children were little. But hey, at least there will be some available when I get grandchildren! 🙂
