Add a little “ick” factor to your Halloween drinks with gummy worm ice cubes. I put a couple of gummy worm cubes in my kids’ punch cups and they were a huge hit! I really enjoyed seeing their reactions once they realized there were gummy worms floating in their drinks.
Gummy worm ice cubes are so easy to make. I mean, they are simply ice cubes – anyone with a freezer can handle this one! You really don’t need a “recipe” – I’m mainly just passing the idea along with how I did it.
Here’s what I used:
- Ice Cube Trays
- Apple Juice
- Gummy Worms
The reason I used apple juice instead of water is so that when the ice melts, it will add flavor to the drink instead of water it down.
How To:
- Fill ice cube trays about three-fourths of the way with apple juice.
- Put one gummy worm into each ice cube, leaving about half of the worm sticking out from the apple juice.
- Freeze until solid and keep frozen until ready to use.
Do you have any Halloween tricks up your sleeve this year? Would your kids like “worms” in their drinks? Let me know in the comments section below.

Is it wrong that I would like these for me? I am a gummy fanatic! I would use the sour Life Savers gummies in this…maybe with fruit punch. So good!
