Travel with Kids? Enjoy Peace and Quiet with Kidz Gear Headphones

November 25, 2013 by Nicole

Mom Always Finds Out received Kidz Gear headphones for kids for review purposes. All opinions expressed are my own. This blog post may contain affiliate links.

Most car trips with my kids get pretty loud. I sit up front with my husband. Our four kids sit in back throwing balls and toys, fighting over who gets to hold the dog, crying because somebody hit them in the face, and on and on. We try watching movies, but no one can hear it over all the noise.

I end up wishing our vehicle had one of those glass partitions like a limo – that way, my husband and I could just close the partition and enjoy silence while the kids go crazy in the back of the car. Obviously, that’s never going to happen. But I do have a more realistic travel solution for you: Kidz Gear Headphones.

Headphones For Kids Kidz Gear Review

These award-winning headphones for kids come in bright, fun colors for boys and girls. Kids can plug into their movies, tablets, MP3 players and other electronic devices. And the best part (to me) is: I don’t have to hear any of it!

Kidz Gear Headphones features parents will appreciate:

  • KidzControl Volume Limit Technology
  • Ergonomic design with soft padded child-sized ear-cups
  • High quality audio components

The Volume Limit is a great safety feature because it limits the volume to only 80% of the maximum output from today’s devices. So even if your child somehow turns the volume all the way up to the max, their ears won’t get blasted by sound.

We received a set of orange, wired Kids Gear headphones ($19.99, GearForKidz.com) along with the Headphones Carry Bag ($5.99) and Splitter Cable ($5.99). If you buy 2 pairs of headphones, you get a splitter cable FREE!

I loved that the headphones were adjustable for a great fit on my child’s head. I put them on myself and was impressed at the sound quality. These affordable headphones deliver better sound than some of my more expensive headphones.

If you have travel plans with children, be sure to pick up a pair of Kidz Gear headphones. The kids can enjoy their shows, music and entertainment while you enjoy the peace and quiet!

WHERE TO BUY:

Kidz Gear® Headphones are sold at Target, Brookstone and InMotion Airport Stores.  They are also available directly at www.GearForKidz.com and online retailers including Amazon.com.

Do you travel (even just around town) with kids? How do you keep your kids entertained on road trips? Would Kidz Gear Headphones help you get a little peace and quiet?

Looks like your son is really enjoying his headphones (what a cutie). Awesome idea for my cousin who has two young boys and travels 10 hours to their destination for summer vacations. (Ahhhh!) You wouldn’t get me in that car! Well, maybe with these headphones! hee-hee

I think that’s fantastic as I don’t think they’re necessarily the best judge of volume!

Cool head phones! I know we can’t travel without ours! For the kids and the adults (for the adults when flying, not driving!).

These look great!! I had bought a pair of kids headphones for my little dude when he was 3 or 4. They were great but the dog recently got a hold of them :/ so now I need to get him a new pair and I love that these are in fun colors and not boring white!!

Those headphones are awesome! I definitely need some of those on our next trip! The kids love to play their games, but I’m not a fan of hearing the video games the entire drive.

We recently bought a new van that came with a DVD player and headphones for the kids. Definitely makes for a much quieter trip.
