School is back in session and kids are busy bringing home papers to sign, books to read, homework…and germs! That’s right, there are always a ton of germs floating around at school that would love the chance to give a cold or worse to your child. I recently learned about four healthy back to school essentials that can boost your child’s immune system, fight germs and shorten the duration of a cold.
The next time your child starts to sneeze, start them on Cold-EEZE Cold Remedy. These lozenges are clinically proven to cut the length of a cold nearly IN HALF! Available for kids 12 and up. ($6.99, drugstores nationwide and online at coldeeze.com)
Have you ever seen a cuter way to fight germs? This neat wristband for kids makes sure hand sanitizer is never more than an arm’s length away. The HALO Sani-CUFF has a refillable reservoir that holds hand sanitizer. Kids simply push on it to dispense hand sanitizer wherever they are, whenever they need it. Brilliant! ($3.99 at Armorteria)
USANA Usanimals™ chewable supplements are specifically designed to provide the vitamins, minerals and antioxidants growing children need. They taste great because they blend blackberry, cranberry, raspberry, and wild blueberry fruit powders. Kids love their fun animal shapes and adults love knowing USANA only uses natural flavors and sweeteners. Perfect for ages 2-12. ($15.35, USANA.com)
Kate Farms Komplete Ultimate Shakes make sure your child gets their day off to a nutritious start – even when there’s no time to sit down and eat breakfast. These organic dairy-free, gluten-free, and soy-free ready to drink meal replacement shakes are packed with antioxidants and 21 Superfoods! ($4.29 at Kate Farms)
Have you used any of these products yet? Which ones sound like a good choice for your family? All of the above? Let me know what you think in the comments.

I like the Halo Sani Cuff hand sanitizer. I carry a sanitizer with me in my purse & I think it is great that they came out with something that kids have to sanitize their hands. Even though most schools have sanitizer in the room. Sometimes it isn’t convenient or allowed to get up to clean your hands.

What a great idea for keeping hand sanitizer close at hand.
