Discover the Future…of the Frozen Food Aisle!

March 14, 2013 by Nicole

I quite often find myself scooting right past the frozen food aisles at my grocery store, mainly because I don’t think there are many dinner options for my family in that section. We usually try to eat healthy meals that include our favorite vegetables and pasta. You know, foods that you pretty much have to make from scratch at home…or so I thought! Did you know that there are chef-inspired healthy meals that are made with crisp veggies, tender meats and al dente pasta to be found on the frozen food aisle? These are perfect for when you are short on time but want a healthy family dinner.

Watch the cute video below called Discover the Future of Frozen Foods. The cameras follow two friends as they text their way through the day and down the frozen food aisle. They use technology to help them select the perfect family-friendly entrees and desserts from Healthy Choice and Marie Callendar’s brands. The Future of the Frozen Food Aisle has arrived!

Do you use technology to help you while you grocery shop? What are some of your favorite things to find on the frozen foods aisle? Let me know in the comments!

This blog post is a Fashionista Events opportunity. All opinions expressed are 100% my own.

I’ve never used anything like this but when they mentioned the Peanut Butter cream pie, that sure sounded good. I have purchased the Healthy Choice meals and Marie Callendar’s as well. I put them in daughters lunch occasionally

We have always purchased a lot of frozen vegetables, because they are just as healthy as fresh when no sauce is added. Frozen entrees have really come a long way in recent years too–lots of healthy, tasty option.
I like Healthy Choice and Amy’s for lunch options (to heat up at work).

Being a work out of the house mom, frozen foods make for quick and easy meals and we eat frozen foods often.

This is a perfect blog post for me today because I just explored the great deals at Safeway today and got some very good deals on my frozen meals and they are healthy meals. You can get healthy meals frozen!

I love the 140 calorie Smart Ones ice cream desserts. I have bit of a sweet tooth, these little bites satisfiy my cravings without having me worry about packing on the pounds.
