The Hoover Windtunnel Air Bagless Upright Vacuum
This vacuum is a powerhouse. I have to vacuum daily (sometimes multiple times!) to clean up after my four young boys, and it always amazes me at the amount of dust and dirt that comes out when I empty the dirt cup. I love bagless vacuums and would never go back to using one that needed bags. Besides saving money and eliminating the hassle of changing out yucky vacuum cleaner bags, going bagless is an eco-friendly option because it means less waste goes into landfills. This vacuum doesn’t miss a crumb, and works well on my low carpet area rug as well as my high carpeted areas.
The vacuum doesn’t adjust for different carpet heights, but that is one less thing I have to fool with when I am vacuuming the house.
Besides the great suction, this vacuum is loaded with helpful features to make vacuuming as convenient as possible. It has a long, 30 foot cord, which I appreciate because I can plug it in once and have enough reach to go from room to room without having to constantly change outlets. The Quick Fit Hose is wonderful for when I vacuum our stairs. I used to have to haul our other vacuum from stair to stair as I vacuumed, but the Hoover’s Quick Fit Hose attaches to the vacuum’s regular hose to make a 12 foot long hose that can reach all the way from the bottom to the top of my stairs.
The 3-in-one Combination Tool is basic, but everything you really need. At first, I couldn’t get the attachment to stay snapped in place, but it was because I wasn’t doing it properly. If they are lined up correctly, they will stay in place.
I really like the recline feature that allows the vacuum to lay back all the way flat to reach under furniture. It’s great for when I vacuum under the beds.
The vacuum has a smaller profile than other full-size vacuums I have owned, which makes it a good choice for smaller homes and apartments. It would also be a great choice for dorm rooms. I like that it easily fits into one of my home’s smaller closets.
I have learned that when you have a good vacuum that gets up every miniscule bit of dust like this one, you will need to regularly clean its filter. This filter is easy to clean – simply rinse with water. The HEPA filter is proven to be an effective way to keep your home’s environment dirt and allergen-free.
