I participated in a campaign on behalf of Mom Central Consulting for JOHNSON’s Baby. I received a promotional item as a thank you for participating.
I recently heard a quote about mothers … I love it so much, it brings back so many tender memories of the day each of my children were born.
This Mother’s Day is extra special in my family because it is my sister’s first Mother’s Day as a Mom. She struggled with infertility for many years, and when second round of IVF worked, our whole family was ecstatic! Her daughter was born earlier this year and is absolutely perfect. It was such a special experience for all of us to see my sister turn into a Mother on the day little Rosie was born.
MOMMY MOMENT FLASHBACK: One of the first (and last) times I flew across the country by myself with my 4-year-old and a baby was a nightmare. The first leg of our flight was 4 hours long. We landed at the Atlanta airport and my 4-year-old threw himself on the ground in a crying tantrum when he found out we were about to get on yet another airplane. I understood how he felt because I felt the exact same way. Flying with young children is hard and stressful. Long story short, I somehow found the last shred of patience left in my body and calmly dealt with his tantrum.
Once he was up off the ground, I felt a tap on my shoulder. An older woman, a stranger, told me that she thought I had done a great job handling the situation with my son.
That was the first real compliment anyone had given me on my parenting skills. It made me feel so good inside! Although this incident took place about 6 years ago, I still remember the feeling. And I want to pass it on!
I will be letting my sister know what a great job she is doing as a new mom by sending her Johnson’s Baby CARES card. For every card that is Liked, Shared, or Sent, Johnson’s Baby will donate $1.00 to Save the Children (up to $150,000!), to benefit early childhood education.
The Johnson’s Baby CARES program started in 2012 as a way to help new moms get access to the resources they need to be good parents. Johnson Baby CARES partners with Save the Children to offer parenting skills needed to build strong foundations for babies, plus give new moms support and encouragement. So far this year, the program has worked with more than 10,000 children, parents and caregivers to provide a brighter future with early childhood education.
Johnson’s brand support of Save the Children’s Early Steps to School program ensures that moms receive the skills and knowledge they need to support their baby’s development from pregnancy to school age! You can support this effort by sending Johnson’s Baby CARES cards.

What an easy way to give back in a small way but if enough people participate it can make a difference.

I just tried the link but it doesn’t work.

Hi Denise, I fixed the link (not sure what was wrong) – but now you should be able to follow it to where you can send the Baby Cares Cards on Facebook. Thanks!

This is a wonderful thing and it shows that it has helped so so many parents. A dollar can go along way in helping this program – help parent – help the children too. Thanks to Johnson for donating a dollar for each card , liked , sent or shared.
