Try the New Glue! Elmer’s School Glue Naturals + Pin to Win Sweepstakes

May 20, 2013 by Nicole

I participated in a campaign on behalf of Mom Central Consulting for Elmer’s. I received product samples to facilitate my review and a promotional item as a thank you for participating.

Elmer’s® Products is the maker of America’s favorite school glue. They have listened to the demands of eco-conscious parents and teachers – and recently introduced the new Elmer’s® School Glue Naturals. This is the FIRST and ONLY school glue made with natural ingredients and available in recyclable packaging. Elmer’s® School Glue Naturals come in both glue stick form and as pourable glue.

Elmer's School Glue Naturals

What natural ingredients will you find in Elmer’s® School Glue Naturals? Corn and soybeans.

Elmer’s® School Glue Naturals work just as well the traditional Elmer’s (white) school glue and offer the same great features and benefits:

  • Strong, Safe and Washable
  • Easy to apply
  • Can be used in any project that Elmer’s white school glue would be used

For more information about Elmer’s® School Glue Naturals, including where to buy them, please visit www.Elmers.com.

How To Recycle Elmer’s School Glue Bottles:

Empty Elmer’s School Glue bottles – both natural and traditional – can be recycled at home by consumers. In schools, the glue bottles and sticks can be recycled through the Elmer’s Glue Crew® Brigade® with TerraCycle, an easy way for teachers and students to
recycle and earn monetary donations and other rewards for participating in eco-friendly efforts.

Fun Fact: Since Elmer’s TerraCycle Glue Crew Bridgades were formed in 2009, 1,273,014 glue bottles and sticks have been recycled.

Elmer’s School Glue Naturals!

We put our Elmer’s School Glue Naturals to the test by making a patriotic wind sock craft. I thought Elmer’s School Glue Naturals pourable glue and the glue sticks worked exactly the same as the traditional white Elmer’s school glue.

I like to choose eco-friendly products, so I will definitely be buying Elmer’s School Glue Naturals in the future. I think parents and teachers will be happy to know there is a more natural glue option for our children and classrooms.

What do you think? Will you buy Elmer’s School Glue Naturals the next time you need glue? Please share your thoughts in the comments section below.

So great to know about the eco-friendliness of everyone’s favorite glue! I wonder, though, can you still make finger-print skin with it like we did in elementary school (he! he!)?
