Every April, visitors to Thanksgiving Point gardens are greeted by thousands upon thousands of colorful tulips. I love all flowers, especially tulips, so I was thrilled to attend the Tulip Festival for the first time with my three trusty toddler sidekicks in tow. They actually are pretty trusty – I am happy to report not one tulip lost its head during our visit (at least not due to my kids…I did notice a few unfortunate flower carcasses strewn along our path).
The gardens are set up so that you can stroll along a stone path and see all the lovely flowers. I somehow managed to snap over 200 photos with my point-and-shoot camera, which was a shocking discovery because I honestly don’t remember taking that many pictures – plus we never really stopped walking. I must have just been walking and clicking the entire time!
It’s too late to see the tulips this year, but mark your calendars down for next April’s tulip festival at Thanksgiving Point. If you’re anywhere near Lehi, Utah, it’s worth the drive.
Okay, enough about me and onto a few of the pictures I wanted to share with you. I wish I was a real photographer so I could really capture the beauty. These pictures just don’t do it justice.

So beautiful. I went once many years ago, but my allergies acted up so bad I wasn’t able to truly enjoy it. I have to suffice with looking at pictures

That’s terrible about your allergies! I can see where they could get bad. There is stuff growing everywhere around there. Didn’t know you were it UT! 🙂

small doses are ok, but the large amounts of tulips plus everything else in the air, completely knocks me out. I hate when the cotton starts flying, lol. I don’t think I realized (until this post) that you were in ut either 🙂 I do love it here!

We just moved here in March from Alaska. I love seeing everything growing already and can’t wait to plant stuff out in my yard. Right now I’m dragging plants in and out since it gets cold at night. I’ll be glad when it stays HOT.
