This post is part of a sponsored campaign for P. King Duckling on Disney Junior. Although I will be compensated for my participation, the thoughts and opinions expressed are my own.
Watch Disney Junior weekdays at 8:05 AM to follow the adventures of a friendly but slightly unlucky duck called P. King Duckling and his two best friends, Wombat and Chumpkins. The trio faces many challenges along the way of their adventures, but they always find creative and hilarious ways to overcome them.
P. King Duckling is a new animated comedy that is entertaining for kids ages 2 through 7 years old. One of the many positive themes of the series is how P. King and his friends inspire children to overcome challenges through creative thinking. Kids are empowered to express themselves creatively through music, dance, and role play with a focus on having fun!
Sometimes my kids are afraid to try new things. They say they don’t know how to do it, or they think they can’t do it, or they get discouraged when they can’t get the hang of it right away. P. King Duckling teaches kids to stay positive even when things don’t go your way.

P. King has a lot of self-confidence. He thinks he is the smartest and handsomest duckling around. He is excited about going on wild adventures and when he faces challenges, he dreams up innovative ways to overcome them. The show teaches kids to think outside the box when it comes to life’s problems and obstacles.
I recently got my youngest two kids hooked on P. King Duckling shows. If they miss the morning’s episode on Disney Junior channel, they can go online at Disney Junior to watch available episodes.
One episode I happened to overhear involved P. King Duckling getting his friends to help him build a robot to do his chores. My kids’ ears perked up at the sound of this awesome idea. What kid wouldn’t love to create a robot to do chores for them?!?
On another show, P. King and his friends go to the amusement park, only to find out that the park has shut down. Instead of letting this setback ruin their day, the three friends decide to work to fix all the broken rides. They quickly discover they can’t do it all by themselves, so they come up with a plan to ask everyone in town to help rebuild the park.
Finally, another show with a message that hits close to home at my electronics-happy house…P. King Duckling gets a new cell phone on Chumpkin’s Big Pig Day. There’s all sorts of fun activities going on, but P. King is so busy on his phone, he misses out. He goes overboard taking photos with his phone, and doesn’t listen to his friends begging him to put his phone away and spend time with them. Will he put his phone away before it’s too late to join the festivities? Find out on P. King Duckling (Season 1 Episode 20, now available online at Disney Junior.)
Let P. King Duckling and his friends inspire YOUR kids to keep dreaming, imagining and doing!
