Escape To Puerto Rico and Live Your Dream Vacation Story

April 15, 2014 by Nicole

This is a Sponsored post written by me on behalf of Puerto Rico, The All-Star Island. All opinions are 100% mine.

I’m so jealous of my sister. She recently took a trip to Puerto Rico, and had the most amazing time. Every Puerto Rico vacation picture she posted to Facebook and Instagram looked like a post card. The beaches were absolutely spectacular. Puerto Rico’s beaches are some of the world’s best, and are often featured in the Top 10 Beaches from the Travel Channel.

In fact, Flamenco Beach in Culebra is often cited as one of the best beaches in the world! Puerto Rico Tourism recently partnered with travel review site Trip Advisor to use real traveler’s reviews to create stunning short films. Watch these beautiful films, but be prepared: you’ll be ready to book the next flight to Puerto Rico after you see them!

After seeing how easy it was for my sister to hop on a plane and go – there’s no need for passports or foreign money – I know it’s totally possible to Live your own 5-star vacation story in Puerto Rico. My sister and her family are big golfers and beach bums, so they enjoyed lots of golfing and spending time by the ocean.

My Must-Do travel itinerary will include visiting as many relaxing beaches as possible. After all, Puerto Rico does have 270 miles of coastline. Plus, I don’t want to miss out on a once-in-a-lifetime chance to glow like an angel in the water in the bioluminescent bays.

My family loves to visit US National Parks. Believe it or not, there’s one in Puerto Rico! El Yunque is the only rainforest under US National Park Service you can visit and enjoy nature hikes.

On the days I feel adventurous, I would love to go horseback riding and visit the famous Camuy caverns that run through the largest subterranean river in the world.

Puerto Rico offers such a variety of activities…I hope I can squeeze them all in! Foodies will enjoy Puerto Rican delicacies including their very unique Rums. History buffs will get a kick out of San Juan’s old world charm.

I’d love to go to Puerto Rico! The bioluminescent bays sound amazing! And visiting a rain forest that’s an actual U.S. National Park would be exciting!

I want to go to Puerto Rico. It looks like such a great place to go to the beach and try out all the great Restaurants. I heard they have the best beaches and the sand is gorgeous.

Visiting Puerto Rico to celebrate a second honeymoon has always been on my husband’s and my “bucket list”! We could take a ferry to Flamenco Beach on Cuebra Island, which was voted one of the best 10 beaches in the world! We also love eating at great restaurants and spending a little time in casinos, and of course, we could enjoy some puerto rican rum!

I’ve wanted to go for many years. My Mom went when I was in my teens and her description of it has always stuck with me.

I would relax on one of their gorgeous beaches! I’ve never really considered Puerto Rico before, but that’s only because my travel options have always been so limited. Travel is to mom’s house or on brand trips. Sigh. 😉

I cannot wait to go back to PR. I have not been there since I was a child and it was beautiful. I could only imaging what it is like now. It’s definitely top of my wish list since I do have a travel blog. It would be perfect content for my readers!

    Thanks for sharing.
