Rice Krispie Easter treats are sure to be a hit at your house. I hope you don’t think this is WAY too simple of an idea for me to share. But if you are a regular reader here or just happen to know me – you know that I love easy ideas for cute treats. This definitely fits the bill!
Rice Krispies Treat “Nests” are just the same as regular Rice Krispie treats. You just have to make each treat by itself using a muffin pan as a mold. Super easy. Once the treats have firmed up, you can fill them with small candies like jelly beans, M&Ms or mini chocolate eggs. These are a sweet way to celebrate the arrival of Spring (yea !!!) and Easter.
DIRECTIONS: How to make Rice Krispies Treat Nests (It’s easy as 1, 2, 3!)
Prepare Rice Krispies Treats according to the official recipe, except instead of pressing the mixture into a pan, you will:
1. Divide warm mixture into muffin pan cups coated with cooking spray.
2. Shape mixture into individual cups, using your fingers to gently press down in the middle of each “nest” to form a slight indentation. Like this:
3. Allow treats to cool. Remove from muffin tin and fill with candy as desired. Best if served the same day.
Rice Krispie treats are one of those sweet snacks that kids AND adults love. Plus, they are quick and easy to make. If you need last minute Easter Treats, this is my new go-to recipe!

Have to try this, I have only tried and tasted Indian version of using jaggery or sugar syrup to make rice balls. I’m sure these would taste great. The nests are so cute 🙂 #HomeMattersParty

Hi Jennifer! Yes, these are a great treat to let the kids help out. Mine love to help fill the nest with candy – mainly because they eat a piece for every piece they put in. LOL Have a Happy Easter! –Nicole
