Save Ink ~ Save Paper with Smart Print | $100 GC #Giveaway (US/Canada)

January 30, 2012 by Nicole

Wouldn’t it be great if you could save ink and paper anytime you printed something off the Web? Smart Print is a free utility that automatically finds the print-worthy area on a web page and eliminates the unnecessary ads, headers, and footers in your printer’s output.

I love to print recipes I find online, but I only want to see the recipe — not all the ads and other items on the page. Smart Print helps me print the recipe I want, without the other junk. It’s easy to use – and I can even crop the page myself. I can significantly reduce the amount of printer paper and ink when I use the Smart Print application found on the free Bing Bar for HP.

Download the FREE Bing Bar for HP to get access to Smart Print and a whole lot of other great features such as your email, weather forecast, Facebook, and more – all with the click of a button.  It’s compatible with any printer – so go ahead, let Smart Print help you print smarter every time you print. Learn more about Bing and how to get Bing Rewards.

GIVEAWAY TIME!

Would you like to WIN a $100 Gift Card to Best Buy, Target, Walmart or StarBucks? One lucky winner will receive their choice of $100 gift card!  Open to USA and Canada residents ages 18 and up; giveaway ends at 11:59pm midnight on February 19, 2012.

  39. Kristie says

I love it! Now when I have a coupon sent by email, I can print just the coupon instead of the entire email, which you wastes at least one page of paper and too much ink. Thanks for the giveaway.

  42. Jeannette Laframboise says

    February 5, 2012 at 8:03 pm

Wow-What a great idea! I too hated getting all the ads and such around anything I printed out such as recipes, research for school & work etc. The way I was getting around it was doing a lot of cutting and pasting into a Word document. It was time consuming and didn’t look too appealing either. Now, problem solved! I shall be sure to send this page/contest and info off to my friends and family for them to try out as well. Thanks!

I love this, it really works. I am always printing out recipes and I either end up with 2 or 3 pages because of the ads or I have to copy and paste it onto a different document so I don’t get the ads, then print it out. With this, I get just the recipe, SCORE!!

  49. Niurka says

    February 8, 2012 at 12:02 pm

I love how easy it is to use

  50. Jennifer Pickering says

    February 8, 2012 at 12:22 pm

Ok so first off its only available for IE….drawback 🙁 BUT I went ahead and downloaded it. Unfortunately not easy to install if you already have the bing bar installed need to uninstall it first. Had some glitches with it at first but NOW that it seems to be cooperating. I do however really like the select and print. That’s really a cool feature since I hate printing everything on the site…usually I will copy and paste and get rid of what I don’t want but this did make it much easier!!
