This week is Shark Week on TV! And we have found the perfect companion book from The Discovery Channel (creators of Shark Week), called Sharkopedia: The Complete Guide To Everything Shark.
Take a look at the cover…doesn’t it look like that shark is about to jump out and eat you?!?!
It doesn’t matter if you are young, old, or somewhere in-between…there is something irresistibly captivating about sharks. I can best describe the Sharkopedia book as the most interesting shark book I have ever read, full of colorful photos and all sorts of information about every shark in the world.
Everyone in our family has flipped through the book at least once or twice already. Who knew there were so many different species of sharks (nearly 500!) and that there are some REALLY WEIRD-LOOKING sharks living in the oceans? It’s fascinating to learn about them.
My kids and I love looking at the 400+ color photos found in this 192-page book. I think the pictures really make the book. This book is a must-have for any kid (or adult) who is interested in sharks. Sharkopedia is an awesome go-to resource for learning everything about sharks. Chapters talk about all sorts of subjects ranging from Shark Anatomy to Shark Eating Habits to Shark Behaviors. You’ll learn all kinds of interesting facts including which shark can live to be over 200 years old!
Shark Week on The Discovery Channel only comes around once per year on TV, but you can enjoy learning about sharks all year long when you add Sharkopedia: The Complete Guide To Everything Shark to your family library.
WHERE TO BUY:
Purchase Sharkopedia: The Complete Guide To Everything Shark ($19.99) at nationwide retailers and online at Amazon.com.
