My Boys’ Dream Toys! Customizable Wooden Cars and Trucks

I have a house full of little boys, so we constantly have toys like cars and trucks underfoot. Our MOTORWORKS wooden vehicles have not had a pit stop since they arrived at our house for review. The new Manhattan Toy MOTORWORKS line of wooden cars, trucks, accessories and play sets are the kind of toys my kids dream about!

Each MOTORWORKS vehicle is completely customizable with interchangeable pieces, car decals, side pipes and spoilers. My boys LOVE building their custom cars and trucks over and over again in different ways.

No matter what style of car or truck your child is into, they can find it in the Manhattan Toy MOTORWORKS line-up. There are three different series of vehicle trim levels: Street Series, Speed Series and Extreme Series. Of course, my boys go for the EXTREME SERIES because they loved the cool monster truck with big wheels and the amazing-looking dragster car. The more extreme, the better at our house!

Every series starts with a European beech wood body – and the customization goes on from there. Interchangeable decals, wheels, trim, and more are fun ways for kids to make these vehicles their own.

Both the Monster Truck and the Patriot Dragster have crazy big wheels that can be mixed, matched, and swapped out for smaller wheels from the Racing Wheels accessories pack. Even the decals and trim are removable so kids can design and create their dream vehicles time and again.

We chose the Motorworks Tuner Lift Station Play Set ($35) so the boys would have somewhere they could take their car and truck for pretend repairs and tune-ups. They can actually drive the vehicles up on the lift and turn the knob so they vehicle goes up. The Tuner Lift Station comes with a set of four wheels and 19 decals to customize the shop!

Not once in the hours and hours of playtime have my boys even noticed that these cars don’t beep or light up. I love that their imagination gets going full force while they play cars and trucks. The boys provide their own sound effects and have taken the vehicles apart and put them back together again way more times than I can count.

    That’s a good review. It’s amazing to both children and adults alike to have a car with accessories and they love to customize their own cars. Toy cars with interchangeable parts is always fun.
