Here’s a very simple way I plan to go “Beyond the Hour” today and maybe you can too:
I’m heading out to the grocery store today — so I will make sure I REMEMBER to take my REUSEABLE bags with me.
Take the opportunity to join in Earth Hour tonight. Talk with your families, especially children, about why we need to make the effort to do things to care for our planet. Let them feel like they are making a difference when the lights go out tonight at 8:30pm – because they will be!

Here’s how stupid I am. I ALWAYS remember to bring my reusable bags to the store but forget to take them in the store (slaps forehead). Maybe it has something to do with lugging 3 kids along with me!

I am the same way- I get in the store at the checkout and realize my reusable bags are sitting in the front seat of the car (where I put them so I wouldnt forget them, lol!)
Bringing kids, purse, etc into the store makes it hard to remember the bags, I agree! Heading to your blog to follow now!
